Joel Stillman
Great editorial design by Joel Stillman for Normal Number.
I particularly like the design of this large publication titled ‘Document with 9 theames’ that reviews 9 themes that surfaced from a semester of critical theory reading. These readings generally discussed the history and the implications of globalized capitalism. The document contains 98 selected quotations, 22 supporting images, and personal written responses. The document acts as an expandable journal in which to include new findings from continued research.

:RRR: Earth Day eZine
Here are a few of my favorite spreads that where collected for an eZine I helped out with over the past week, it was a lot of fun.
With a very short deadline a number of international artists and photographers were asked to act and respond.
Look around your environment, see what you can save, pickit up, turn it over, and look at it in a different way.
We make waste for a living. So now we’re gonna make waste live.
In honor of Mother Earth this ezine was created.
Thanks to everyone that participated.

Farrow / Pet Shop Boys

I’m digging the new Pet Shop Boys album artwork recently designed by Farrow. The art direction was inspired by the Gerhard Richter 4900 exhibition that showed last year at the Serpentine gallery in London.

Onlab - Intersections
Berlin based studio onlab designs the monthly section of the Domus magazine called Intersections. The current issue discusses the mechanisms, strengths, frailties and possible scenarios on the eve of Web 3.0. Great illustrations by Tobias Krafczyk and the page folded spreads are amazing. I’m trying to get my hands on this one.
