Art for autism contribution

artismart_ps

My contribution to the Art for Autism book. The idea was something along the lines of being to focused on the details and not being able to grasp the full picture… you’ll figure it out.

Farrow / Pet Shop Boys

F860 Yes Final CoversPrint

I’m digging the new Pet Shop Boys album artwork recently designed by Farrow. The art direction was inspired by the Gerhard Richter 4900 exhibition that showed last year at the Serpentine gallery in London.

Rare color photos from the 40’s

parachute

It’s almost surreal seeing photos like these in color. “The best-known FSA photographs are in black and white. Less commonly seen are the color photos by FSA and OWI photographers, shot between 1939 and 1945″.

Waiting for a meeting to start so quickly created this with a couple found rock images from flickr. I like it, might experiment with it more when I have some time.

Onlab - Intersections

onlab_domusBerlin based studio onlab designs the monthly section of the Domus magazine called Intersections. The current issue discusses the mechanisms, strengths, frailties and possible scenarios on the eve of Web 3.0. Great illustrations by Tobias Krafczyk and the page folded spreads are amazing. I’m trying to get my hands on this one.

Sketch - Paint drips

drips1

Paint drips are a bit played but this was part of a sketch for a client with ‘Paint’ part of the name. It ended up nowhere so I’m posting i there instead! Also as we’re getting this going, it’s okay to be a bit liberal with the posts.

Good I’m Glad

good_im_glad_zine

My most current art project: A small zine created with some friends entitled ‘Good I’m Glad’. It took us one night to create every page after loading up on rejected magazines from a Borders dumpster and a few beers. I’m still in the process of scanning all the pages, you can check them out here.
